Why Does Recykal Exist?
Why Does Recykal Exist?
India’s waste ecosystem fails because stakeholders operate in silos, leading to poor segregation, littering, and lost value. Fixing source segregation and littering can fundamentally change how the system works.

Our Story
Our Story
Recykal was not born in a boardroom, but in the everyday reality of India’s waste ecosystem, where the scale of the challenge is impossible to ignore. For two years, the founding team worked closely with waste generators, recyclers, and the informal sector; an experience they often describe as their “MBA in Waste Management,” shaped by real-world exposure across the value chain. This led to a clear insight; India’s waste problem can only be solved through sustained behavioural change.

Our Logo
The idea behind this is that a boomerang is the first man-made thing that shows circularity in its true sense. Each boomerang in our logo depicts whatever goes around as waste, needs to come around by getting recycled or reused to help close the loop.
